How long have you been in business? AllCare Living Services is locally family owned and operated and has been in business since 1998 with over 75 years combined professional in-home care experience.
Are you state certified, insured and bonded? Yes...We are State Certified for Medicaid, fully insured, and bonded. Do you have nurses on staff? Yes...AllCare Living Services is structured as an interdisciplinary team of caring licensed nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Personal Care Assistants and Professional Office Staff.All Caregivers are supervised by licensed nurses and required to complete the state approved "Certified Home Care Aide" training program.Our registered nurses, caregivers, and office staffprepare monthly updates in order to keep your family, physician and case managers current with any changes and/or new requests. Do you offer 24 hour a day care on all 365 days? Yes…Services are provided 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
Will we receive a written care plan before service begins? Yes...A careplan will be completed as part of the assessment. There will be a learning curve for you and for us so we will re-evaluate as we go, to make any necessary adjustments to the schedule, the careplan, and/or the caregivers.
Are there any limits on the types of tasks performed? If so, what are the limits? Yes...We can only perform "non-medical" duties. Basically, we cannot perform any task that is invasive. No shots, wound care, etc. We can provide bed baths, incontinence care, medication reminders, empty and rinse Ostomy bags, etc.
Do you have an on-call supervisor after office hours? Yes...We provide 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on-call services and supervision of all clients. We also utilize the Telephony Phone System to ensure accurate, electronic hourly time clock tracking for all Caregivers. Are the caregivers employees of the company? Yes...All caregivers are employed by AllCare Living Services, Inc. Each member of our team is agency certified, evaluated monthly and required to complete 16 hours annually of ongoing educational training. Are the caregivers CPR and First Aid certified? Yes...All caregivers are certified by the American Heart Association in CPR and First Aid annually. Additionally, they are approved by registered nurses as “Certified Home Care Aides.” Do you drug screen and TB test your caregivers? Yes...All caregivers have pre-employment, post accident and random drug screening performed. They all have pre-employment and annual 2-step TB test performed.
Do you run background checks and driving records on caregivers? Yes...We run pre-employment and annual criminal background checks and DMV reports. Proof of auto insurance is also required.
